Working
with targeted schools such as Fair, Sylvandale, etc. (Middle Schools),
with parents and with children at risk.

Raising
Public Awareness of the importance of juvenile delinquency prevention.

Educating
student on the dangers of drugs, crime and gang activities and learning
mottoes about anti-crime, anti-gang and anti-drug-use in public place.

Recruitment
and training of volunteers.

Referral
of high risk kids recovering from schools, probation department, churches,
youth centers, sport grounds, sport events, competition tournaments.

Developing
recreational activities as an alternative to street activities.

Providing
mediation, peer counseling, school tutoring and private tutoring.

Solving
the fundamental problem of juvenile delinquency: identity crisis.
AFTER SCHOOL HOMEWORK CENTER
For Vietnamese American Children from 6 years
old or older everyday from 3 p.m to 5 p.m. at our agency. Please call if
you have children to join our program at 408-971-8280. Teachers from local
San Jose School district, teachers' aid are students from San Jose State
University. Transportation is provided.

Youth Club
Program aims at:

physical and health education including stress management.

leadership among youth to increase self-esteem and motivation.

youth information and referral including factual drug and alcohol information.

counseling on an on-going basis.
